What is ICPT ? How does it affect my commercial or industrial business?
Alert! 1 Jan 2023 onwards, TNB Electricity ICPT Tariff Surcharge is RM0.20 per kwh! 440% hike from RM0.037/kwh
As announced by Minister of Natural Resources, Environment And Climate Change (NRECC), YB Tuan Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad on 16th December 2022, the good news were there will be no changes in Domestic Residential Tariff A, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Tariff B, D, Agriculture H, H1 and H2 Electricity Rate.
However, medium voltage (MV) and high voltage (HV) customers among industry participants including multinational corporations will face a surcharge at the rate of 20 sen/kWh. (RM0.20/kwh)
